Home Tomorrow
The ride home has been pretty uneventful. The crew and passengers have used this time to catch up on sleep, play cards, watch movies, or just browse the Internet. We did see a pocket of good water well within the five day range where we found a small kelp and picked up 17 yellowtail 15-25 pounds. You get the impression that if you found a big kelp in the area it would be loaded. There was also sign of bluefin in the 67.3' water and even trolled up an 18 pound yellowfin too. As far as the trip goes, for what was available we did very well in my eyes. We ended up with 120 big tuna(18 over 200) and 119 wahoo. If we even landed half of what the sharks ate, this boat would be full. We had shots at multiple cows every day, and that is rare. On another note, Al Scow did an amazing job as charter master this trip. Not only did he giveaway eight Penn Internationals and MANY other things, he is one of the most generous and nicest men that you will ever meet. Always good for a laugh. Thanks for everything you do Big Al. Eta is 0700-0730 tomorrow morning.
